Roach Infested!
Let me start off by saying that the staff is very nice, and it seems like they are doing the best with what they have been given.
My experience living here for a year was terrible. Our next door neighbor was a hoarder, and while she was very nice, her place was infested with roaches. We did everything we could to keep them out. We reported her to the office, had the pest control over almost every week, and placed traps although our apartment. We keep our place spotless and have never ever had... any issues anywhere else we have lived. It was so awful that multiple times I woke up to bugs crawling on me. It was not only completely disgusting but terrifying.
Our apartment was directly in front of the dog park. We love dogs, however there were zero restrictions on when people could bring their dogs to the park and all hours of the night we were woken up to barking and people yelling in the park with their dogs. I messaged and called three office multiple times about this but was never given a call back or response.
We had a nice couple move in above our hoarder neighbors apartment, and they had such an issue with bugs and the smell that they had to move about 3 months in.
The property was constantly doing work and every week we received a note on the door sometimes even the morning of that they would be entering our home or that we needed to move our belongings on the patio or move our cars because of work being done. We also had a dog that had seizures and someone needed to be home with her if a stranger was entering the home, or she would work herself up into a seizure. I told the office this multiple times and they never took note of it and continued to try to have people enter the home when we were not there.
The crime in the neighborhood is also very bad. We had our car hit in the parking lot within 2 months of living there, multiple car break ins in the complex, and a dead body found on the grounds.
I have other friends here in Wilmington who lived here as well with similar stories and issues.
I would not live here again even if it was my only choice.
