So many issues. Just don't go here.
Where do I even begin? If I could give it a 0 I would. I would write more but there is a character limit. I can't put how long I've been here for anonymity, but just know it's been a sufficient length of time to see the good, bad, and ugly.
The good:
- The beach is the best feature, but you can only have one guest per UNIT.
- The pool is ok when it's open
- There are Grills at the pool and the beach
- They have a basketball/tennis court, but it was closed for the majority of the time I've lived... here for crime reasons
- The gym is open 24/7 just good luck finding anything to disinfect with and several of the machines are broken.
- The corner store nearby is phenomenal and has just about everything you might need in a pinch.
The bad
- Maintenance is the least responsive thing here.
- The electrical in these buildings is old. If it's too windy expect your power to flicker or go out completely. Just about every socket is wiggly and the internet ports on the wall are painted over and many are broken.
- You're stuck with basically one option for internet services
- There is very limited parking unless you want to pay extra MONTHLY.
- The unrenovated units are the definition of landlord makeover. Our floor has a dip in it, our bathroom door doesn't latch, our laundry room door doesn't even stay closed, our counter has a huge gap between it and the wall supporting it that they just filled with caulk (which peeled off), and the paint shows every mark.
-When we moved in there was pink mold in the bathroom
- Way overpriced for what you are (and aren't) getting.
- There is no grace period for paying rent.
The ugly:
- We didn't have heat for months because they took so long to come fix it.
- Our AC was out for almost the entire summer not that it is great at keeping it cool to begin with.
- The towing company is predatory. They tow for: a pass being slightly obscured, tags being expired, parking in the same spot for more than a week (yes I'm serious), and if you are parked anywhere that isn't a parking spot. Yes you are stuck parking far away and needing to walk.
- If the leasing agent tells you that you can do something that goes against the lease make sure you get it in writing + signatures because they do not stick to their word.
- OH fun fact: they have bugs (found them in 3 different buildings) despite forcing everyone to get treated every couple of months.
