Move-in was not smooth. I changed my move-in date with one person, and it wasn’t communicated so a different person sent me a lease with the wrong date. Then the lease with correct date had the wrong price.
They changed my apartment number a day before I was supposed to move in, which meant I had to change my address with the internet, energy, mail, and insurance people.
Apartment was not super clean when I moved in. Sticky and smelled like cigarette smoke. Fake eyelashes on the bathroom... floor.
Within the first 1.5 weeks, my front door lock broke as a result of some pressure washing they were doing. I submitted a work request on a Thur. Lock was not fixed Fri. I called Mon and they confirmed it would be fixed. As of Tue morning, it was still not fixed. I had to call maintenance and request immediate assistance since I needed to leave and couldn’t lock my apartment. The maintenance guy said “oh I did this request already but I got the numbers mixed up and fixed the wrong lock”.
