Preston at Hillwood Apartments

My 7 year old daughter and I have been tenants since 2014 Stoneridge Farms at Hillwood (210 Hillwood Blvd Apt XXX Murfreesboro, TN 37128) and now Olympus Hillwood located at 210 Hillwood Blvd Apt XXX Murfreesboro, TN 37128. I renewed my lease in August, 2016 about 5 months ago. Overall, we are happy with the size and location of the apartment. However, shortly after we renewed the lease, I discovered my allergies had gotten worse. My physician urged me to check the apartment home for mold. Sure... enough, we discovered mold in an area of the master bathroom. It needs to be treated and removed by a professional.

This has been very upsetting to me and I feel as if my complaints are falling on deaf ears and aren't being taken seriously. This issue can not be "patched" anymore and needs to removed immediately.

Please see the attached photos of area in question. Based on the photos this has been an on going issue for months October, November, December of 2016 and now January, 2017.

Due to these conditions I am requesting break our lease by February 1, 2017 and will contact the Better Business Bureau and legal counsel if the current lease can not be terminated . Mold is a very serious health hazard. Read More

It is in a great location, but that is why they can charge premium prices. The landscaping is well maintained and the outside if the buildings are aesthetically pleasing. However...the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. I could hear my neighbor's phone call while he was in the bathroom like he was standing next to me in my bathroom while getting ready for work. The windows have to literally be wiped everyday in the cooler months from condensation or you will get a nasty mold problem... . There is only one choice for internet. It is DSL from AT&T, and it is a max of 6 Mbps. The service is the worst!!! When we moved in the carpet was pretty old. Not what you would expect for $1100 monthly. Not a luxury apartment. Most of the staff were helpful. I would say location is what we moved there for, but there are a lot of other options you could consider for a lot less money. Read More

My apartment is very nice,lots of windows with great views. It has a play area for the kids close by and a dog park for my dog.

When I moved in over three year ago, this was a wonderful place. Since then the maintenance has fallen to a lower standard and the prices have climbed very high. We have been through several management changes, included a change in ownership. The current management tries, but they have been deal a bad hand.

We have no choice on Satellite/Cable tv service, nor choices in internet provider, leading to appalling service and horrible prices on both. We have been told that they are trying to expand... our options on these, but nothing has come of it and it has been at least a year since that was first reported. Read More

Stonridge farms is an amazing place to live! It's a gated community, with beautiful amenities. The pool area is beautiful with a nice grill, there's a playground for kids, and a small dog park! Everything is kept up and clean. The clubhouse has a free fitness center and tanning bed. They also have DVD's and games (video games and board games) that you can rent for free! All the employees are extremely friendly and all the apartments are nice. I really feel at home with Stoneridge Farms. Their... courtesy officer is my neighbor and the nicest man you'll ever meet. They are luxury apartments, but at an affordable price. There's college students in the complex, but not an abundance. They even offer garages for an extra fee, which my fiance loves; he keeps his motorcycle and project car in there. Everyone that's around us is respectful. Of course there's the occasional noise. But it's the amount you would expect from living in an apartment. The community is gated, so it gives me a little peace of mind. I love these apartments! Read More
