WILL TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY

this complex is horrible. management is rude and if they don't want to deal with you, they will just ghost you. our water bill was randomly $400 when it was normally $50 and they refused to provide any documentation as to why it was this high and forced us to pay so we did not incur late fees. on the move out, we didn't hear from them for a month after we moved out and then one day randomly got a bill for $500 for a "damaged carpet spot". they will drain you of all your money and for a less than... 500 square foot apartment!!!!!

Be Careful

We dealt with a mold issue in our bathroom for the entire 14 month lease. In the beginning, the painted-over mold looked fine. As we started to live in and clean our bathroom, we noticed paint peeling away to reveal black mold spreading from the back corner of the tub. Bleach and knowing our lease was coming due kept us from a complaint, but after receiving our final statement and being charged for “tub damage”, our communication with Polo Park is far from over. We were not the only unit or... building with this mold issue. This health hazard is not “damage”.
EDIT: we also had a friend move into the building right across from us and we’re denied any referral benefits without reason

Hello,
We sincerely apologize for any dissatisfaction you may have experienced during your stay in our community. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Regarding the move-out process, we...
understand that discrepancies between the move-in inventory form and the final inspection can be frustrating. Our goal is to conduct a fair assessment by comparing the condition of the apartment at move-out to the documented condition at move-in. To ensure an accurate representation, we encourage residents to provide as much detail as possible on the inventory and conditions form during the move-in process. During your residency, if you have any maintenance concerns or questions about anything, we kindly ask residents to notify our team immediately. This allows us to take prompt and appropriate action to address each concern accordingly, ensuring your comfort and satisfaction throughout your stay. For specific questions or further clarification regarding your deposit or any charges, we recommend reaching out to our billing team directly at billing@udr.com. They are best equipped to provide you with detailed information and assist with any billing-related inquiries you may have. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your residency and assure you that we are committed to continuously improving our services to enhance the living experience we offer in our community.
Kind Regards,
Callie

Bait and switch

Couldn't view the apartment until after we signed our lease ( red flag). We requested a 2nd floor apartment but only had 1st floor available but the leasing agent assured it was quiet (2nd red flag). Well...the apartment was dirty and wasn't cleaned, wild college students living above us, sketchy neighbor next door, upstairs apartment water heater busted which flooded our storage and living room, huge apartment fire and they did very little to help us. You are nickled and dimed for amenities... that other properties do not charge for like parking, trash, and parcel service. Expect your electric bill to be high being that these apartments are old and not insulated well. This property is not luxury by no means as advertised. The only upside is that shopping is across the street, great location, pet friendly and access to a beautiful greenway.
Soooo... if you enjoy having little to no sleep because of disrespectfully loud neighbors throughout the day and night, high anxiety, the aroma of marijuana coming into your apartment, paper thin walls, cold drafty bedrooms during the winter, false promises and extra money to just throw away I strongly encourage you to apply.

I had to cancel my lease before 30 days

If I could give this place a zero star I would. In fact I can prove it to you try to find a phone number that connects you to a human being in their office. You won't be able to!

It's completely overpriced for how outdated and poorly the property is cared for! After my first 30 days I chose to do the buyout lease. And the property company was both incredibly hard to get in contact with and both unprofessional.
