No source of ventilation in the bathroom

Don’t fell for their’s cheap prices.
1) none of their apartment have exhaust or window in the bathroom which means you have to keep the door open and kitchen is right next to the bathroom and the whole apartment stinks after using the bathroom. Old apartment structure will develop mold quickly.
2) their one bedroom apartment doesn’t have light in the room. Which means you have to spend extra to buy table lamp
Recently I signed up the lease and ended up breaching it because I got confused with...
the AC vent inside the bathroom. I thought it was exhaust fan. I know it’s kinda my fault too but they also don’t tell tenants about not having ventilation in the bathroom.
3) on the move in date they give you a paper which includes a list of compliances that may need to fix and they ask you to point out and return the paper within 48 hours and after that they suppose to fix within 72 hours but they don’t care and they will not fix it for you.
4) on the moving day they will have you sign up with Towe company
5) they don’t have cameras in parking areas or under the carport. Someone damaged my car’s windshield.
6) no microwave provided in apartment like in most apartments you do get. Their washer and dryer are very tiny and old and can’t wash heavy stuff like blankets.
7) they have more apartments but not enough parking spots so be ready to spend some time in looking for parking.
8) I have signed the lease for one of the unit and that unit have holes in the roof and squirrels were jumping all day long. That unit had broken windows. Found big cockroaches inside the apartment. Not a peaceful complex some tenants play loud music in their car at late night on weekends.
They deceived me by not showing me the renovated unit and they categorically told me there’s no other 630 SF unit available once I signed the lease and went back again after 2 or 3 days on their website and I saw the renovated unit were available.
Sometimes things are invisible and you have to live there to see hidden damages.
There early lease termination required to pay 2 months of rent and whatever promotions they give you at the time of sign up they simply take back.
Be careful everyone don’t let them traps you since Dallas is a landlord friendly state.

Go ANYWHERE ELSE

I’m in the Hamptons apartment complex, apartment 172. My apartment was flooded from the person above me and I came home to an inch of water and the ceiling had fallen through. Even though the emergency maintenance got some of the water cleared up I have things soaked and the place is obviously molding. Unhealthy to say the least! I requested to move into an equivalent apartment as this is obviously unsafe now. I was denied. I am supposed to move my things around from room to room to let... maintenance work on it. Completely ridiculous and I physically can’t. I’m in the process of a claim with the renters insurance of the guy above me but for now I have nowhere to live. Every time I enter I’m sick afterwards as the mold is obviously setting in quickly. both Anterra Communities Management and The Hamptons Apartments are responsible. They will respond to this review with please contact us which is useless!!!!

why is zero not an option

If I could give 0 stars I would! I’m hate it here! Please read the negative reviews they are the truth they aren’t just disgruntled tenants. This is the worst complex ever it’s not the tenants that make it bad it’s the management and maintenance. They rushed me to move in telling me things would be fixed/replaced before moving in that were not fixed due to Covid they didn’t allow me to look at my unit again for a final walk through before signing my lease and getting my money. When I ask them to... replace things I’m given the excuse that I live in a “classic” so I won’t be replaced i just have to deal with it. I can not wait for this lease to be over they parking is horrible you have to be home early or you’ll risk having to park elsewhere don’t park under the covered parking or someone will tow your car or leave a sign threatening to tow it and have management sending you a text message the following day. I really hate it here there are way better apartments in the area.

Get Lowest Rent, Get Lowest Quality

2 years of living here and parking for your visitors is an absolute menace. One of my visitors had their vehicles knifed overnight because of a dispute in parking. On weekends you will wait as long as 3 hours for your visitors to park. What do the visitors do during the weekend then? They flood the resident parking. Good luck trying to park on the weekends because the flooding of illegally parked visitors will prevent you from getting home from your late night job. EDIT: I've moved out so let's... get into the gritty. Their maintenance is okay. With mechanical and electrical failures like AC and garbage disposal they are quick and easy fixes. Anything else however is suspect. My tub was resurfaced poorly, bubbled and cracked. Got it resurfaced, and in a little less than a yeah it started to fall apart again after which I chose to adopt a showers-only policy until my second year was up. Parking is an utter nightmare, sometimes taking as long as 2-3 hours of a wait if you want a visitor parking slot to open up, of which there are only 8 still. It's my personal opinion that when it comes to contractors, they will contract with the lowest-bidding yes-men they can find to help support any claims they make. You'll find my suspicions about this in other reviews relating to bed bugs and further down this review. After move out, I had thought I did very well for my first time leaving an apartment. Not only did I make sure to clean every ounce of trash I could find from the apartment, but I filled in every hole in the wall and hired the cleaner my fiancé's family uses for $200 to make a run of the place and get it very clean. Well, they did not immediately return my security deposit so I gave them one month to which it was complete silence from them. When I did open contact with them a month later they refused to return my deposit and accused me of pet damage to carpet in the amount of $700 (I have 2 young healthy cats that of course only use a litter box). After asking for evidence, they provided a blurry photo of some minorly damaged carpet, and a section of carper that was brighter than the rest of the carper where the plastic carpet protector for my desk chair went. Imagine being charged $700 for having carpet that was too clean compared to the rest of the carpet? The moment I questioned their evidence they went silent. Still trying to solve the dispute.
