No source of ventilation in the bathroom
Don’t fell for their’s cheap prices.
1) none of their apartment have exhaust or window in the bathroom which means you have to keep the door open and kitchen is right next to the bathroom and the whole apartment stinks after using the bathroom. Old apartment structure will develop mold quickly.
2) their one bedroom apartment doesn’t have light in the room. Which means you have to spend extra to buy table lamp
Recently I signed up the lease and ended up breaching it because I got confused with... the AC vent inside the bathroom. I thought it was exhaust fan. I know it’s kinda my fault too but they also don’t tell tenants about not having ventilation in the bathroom.
3) on the move in date they give you a paper which includes a list of compliances that may need to fix and they ask you to point out and return the paper within 48 hours and after that they suppose to fix within 72 hours but they don’t care and they will not fix it for you.
4) on the moving day they will have you sign up with Towe company
5) they don’t have cameras in parking areas or under the carport. Someone damaged my car’s windshield.
6) no microwave provided in apartment like in most apartments you do get. Their washer and dryer are very tiny and old and can’t wash heavy stuff like blankets.
7) they have more apartments but not enough parking spots so be ready to spend some time in looking for parking.
8) I have signed the lease for one of the unit and that unit have holes in the roof and squirrels were jumping all day long. That unit had broken windows. Found big cockroaches inside the apartment. Not a peaceful complex some tenants play loud music in their car at late night on weekends.
They deceived me by not showing me the renovated unit and they categorically told me there’s no other 630 SF unit available once I signed the lease and went back again after 2 or 3 days on their website and I saw the renovated unit were available.
Sometimes things are invisible and you have to live there to see hidden damages.
There early lease termination required to pay 2 months of rent and whatever promotions they give you at the time of sign up they simply take back.
Be careful everyone don’t let them traps you since Dallas is a landlord friendly state.
