The unit is PERFECT. Exposed Brick, hardwood floors, high ceilings, updated kitchen and bathroom amenities, beautiful view of downtown skyline, and right above so many fun restaurants and bars! The apartment however leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I have had a car and bike stolen out of the parking garage. The elevators are basically always broken, and they haven’t fixed a reoccurring leak in my ceiling for the past year.

In my opinion The Rice shouldn’t advertise as Luxury. The consistent inoperable elevators alone kick it out of a luxurious experience. Having the recent experience of renewing my lease, a 6 month lease is cheaper than a year or 14 mo. So that definitely sends the signal rice does not want long term residents, even someone that has been here 4 years like myself.

The place would be great if the elevators and gate worked consistently , they also need to upgrade the floors. Most pets pee in the elevators…

I fell in love when the agent showed me the studio floor plan. I like I'm home now. The amenities seem lovely and the atmosphere very pleasant.
