My Car Was Stolen From The Parking Garage
From the moment I moved in, I've had issues. I have been here 6 months. The day I moved in there were holes in the wall in the bathroom and in the living room ceiling and paint overspray on everything (including the fire alarm which is a code violation)and the painters left equipment in the unit. Issues getting the blinds installed, kitchen cabinet coming off the wall, washing machine was broken before I moved in, ceiling fan, fire alarm issues in the entire complex going off for weeks,... elevator broken, bugs in my bathroom and they wont spray the apartment because i have a pet, etc etc... issue after issue. MY CAR WAS STOLEN FROM THE PARKING GARAGE, the leasing office was not helpful or cooperative with me or the police. I have been waiting about two months now for the property management company to get in touch with me but they have not reached out at all. The adjacent shopping mall has rampant crime, I see windows busted out every weekend. Since before my car was stolen access to the property has been open, you need a fob in some areas to access the building but not in any location near my unit since they are BROKEN.
The leasing office staff are friendly enough BUT has been under staffed and with the management company change it has been a nightmare. Nobody ever answers the phone if you call the leasing office and they leave the sign on the door saying they are giving a tour but I sat in the lobby for over half and hour the other day and a tour doesn't take that long.
I will say the maintenance guy is very friendly and did his best to get things taken care of but still for the money I pay, I shouldn't be having issues like this. Not to mention the fact my car was stolen because security is a JOKE.
