I have lived here for years and highly recommend it!

This property has everything you need for the price, and the management is great. I've never had any issues here, and I really like their gym. They are always pretty quick to respond to maintenance requests, too, as long as they have or can order the parts, etc. Their assigned covered parking is also pretty good and I've never had any issues with people parking in my spot or anything. 10/10 for Talavera! I've lived in four different apartments in the area since 2018, and I wouldn't want to live... at any other apartment.

Low Quality Management

DO NOT LIVE HERE! I want to first state that I’ve always paid my rent on time and never had any complaints (at least ones brought to my attention) against me or my spouse for the 2 years that we’ve resided at the TALAVERA at the JUNCTION apartments - owned by Wasatch Property Management. On Tuesday, 6/05/18 at 3:25 PM I called Talavera and spoke with Lexi, who told me when my lease was up and I informed her that we will not be extending our lease another year. I then asked if Lexi would like... this notice in writing or is a verbal OK. Lexi states that a verbal was fine and she would notate the account. 2 months go by and I think everything is good to go. I was told by a Talavera employee after all. But we had received a few notes on our door asking if we were planning on staying. By the 2nd note, I thought I’d better call to confirm that Lexi had done what she said she’d done. I was told by Ashley that she did not. Ashley then stated that because I had not provided the verbal notice 60 days before my lease was up, that now I have to extend my lease by two weeks and pay $500 . Lexi was extremely rude and in a round about way basically called me a liar. Lexi said that it was very unlikely that she said those things on June 5th. All in all, it doesn’t matter who gave me this incorrect information. One of their employees told me I was good to go and the next thing I know I’m paying an extra $500 for their mistake. No responsibility taken. No apology. No accountability. Nothing. Just give me your money. No customer service. I will not recommend TALAVERA or any other complex owned by Wasatch Property Management. I will in fact go out of my way to let everyone know that although the area looks high quality, the management is very low quality when it comes to assisting their tenants, taking responsibility for what they say to their tenants, and overall politeness. I would even meet in the middle to settle this issue. It’s a disagreement regarding the date the notice was given. I’m stating that its 6/05/18, Talavera is stating 8/16/18, compromise in the middle would be 7/16/18 . But you know why Talavera or Wasatch will not accept this compromise? Because it doesn’t make them any money and that's all this company cares about at the end of the day. Tenants are disposable, bring in the money. Extremely disappointed. Maybe one day we’ll rent again, but we will NEVER pay our money to Wasatch Property Management after this terrible experience.

Terrible

New management allows staff to be rude, condescending and just general jerks. If you want to pay an extreme amount for an average apartment then sign a 12 month lease and regret it for the next 12 months, then come comment on this review and say "you told me so"
