Horrible manager

Absolutely the WORST management. We're on day 3 of no AC and our baby is now throwing up. When we moved in almost a year ago, the apartment was never cleaned. There were still items in the kitchen drawers and cat litter on the floor of the linen closet. When we moved in, the AC wasn't working, I was pregnant and no one was answering the emergency cell phone. We spent our first night in a hotel room. A year later, no AC again, and again no one answered the emergency cell phone and the office... staff skipped out early so there was no one in the office during office hours. If you're looking for a Wasatch Property, choose San Marino in South Jordan. More expensive, but they actually care and take care of their residence. SOOOO worth the extra expense.

Tiny apartments, overpriced, VERY rude maintenance crew

Me and my roommate have lived in these apartments for 3 months. The A/C has not worked for 2 of those months. The average temperature has been around 85° F and when we called the emergency line provided by the call center the leasing office is using, the maintenance crew had the audacity to YELL at my roommate about DOING HIS JOB and it not being an emergency unless the apartment was at 90° F! Mind you, this was with a portable A/C unit and fan WE HAD TO BUY OURSELVES. After the man was done... yelling at my roommate he told us that he would bring another A/C unit to our apartment within the hour. Well, that was two days ago and I haven't seen it. My current temperature inside the apartment is 81° F with my fan blowing at top speed and the A/C unit set to 65° F. Maybe I will submit the fifth maintenance ticket in the past 5 days, but I don't expect anything from these jokes.

Before this incident there have been issues that were quite annoying, but at least tolerable. The apartment is tiny, you can hear every step the upstairs neighbors take, the cheap bathtubs they put in creak LOUDLY. I refrain from taking showers at night because I do not want to disturb my neighbors(a courtesy my upstairs neighbors do not offer me). Since day 1 the house has smelled like weed, and me and my roommate have had to purchase a variety of air fresheners and candles to cover it up. The grounds are messy and poorly kept. Dog poop covers the ground, the grass is swampy so don't go outside barefoot. You have the same possibility of having your feet covered in mud or dog crap.

Me and my roommate will be breaking our lease as soon as possible. Our experience with these apartments have been wholly unpleasant and I will be warning everyone I know of the severe lack of respect these people have for their tenants.

Horrible customer service- not helpful at all. Lazy

Annoyed with customer service from the staff. Jamie is absolutely no help and seemed irritated I was bothering him with my call. Having problems with someone parking in my parking stall and asked them to contact the resident to notify them they are parking in the wrong stall and tell them which one is theirs. Their response was, "well when I dries up, we will have maintenance go paint numbers on the stalls." It's winter, I never have a place to park because someone is parked in my stall. When... it dries up doesn't help me. Oh and our parking stall collapsed over a month ago and they still haven't replaced it.

Review of promontory point

I have lived at Promontory Point for about 8 months. In that time I have had an adequate experience..

Pros:
First off, the location is amazing. You are literally 5 minutes at most from anything. With a grocery store next to a gas station with restaurants and a pretty decent movie theatre, you can't really go wrong. Second, the staff is really nice, I haven't had a real complaint about them, other than a few mistakes with how I pay my rent, but they instantly correct it. The office manager...
Mindy is nice and cares about the residents. Finally the maintenance team is really speedy and very quickly addresses any issues and are generally nice people.

Cons:
Uncovered parking is absolutely atrocious. When I moved in it was 25 bucks a month for covered parking. Naturally no one wants to pay that much, so every takes the uncovered parking stalls. Now to fix this, instead of offering parking stalls with lower costs, they offer reserved uncovered parking stalls for 15 dollars a month. Thereby making the parking situation go from bad to worse. The floors are so badly done that my upstairs neighbor makes the ceiling creak and I can essentially hear everything in their apartment. While this isn't really something that I can avoid, I've had some issues with neighbors, however there will always be people in apartments or otherwise, this was just a minor grievance. As far as serious problems, my apartment has flooded twice. One time, after I had lived there less than a month, the sewer lines under my bathroom had broke and flooded my room. They paid for a cleaning, however I had to make the cleaning crew replace my pads after the leasing office conveniently told them it was just a cleaning, not that the sewer pipe burst. Then the pipes between my two upstairs neighbors burst. Granted I can't necessarily blame them for this, however this caused a huge inconvenience with my work. On several other occasions I received less than 24 hours notice that certain things needed to be done to my apartment, such as needing pesticides or changing my smoke detector. Now this doesn't seem like much, but I have a pit bull and she may be sweet to who I allow in my house, however if people just enter, could be tricky. So this again caused problems that inconveniences my work.

So that's what has happened to me and I probably won't be staying there. Hope this review was helpful!
