Roaches!

The roaches!!!! We have a toddler and 4 month baby and I CONSTANTLY have to be worried about leaving a bottle on the counter or table! It doesn't matter how clean I keep my apartment, there is ALWAYS a roach crawling around. Since day one!!! in the sink, dish washer, pantry, bathroom, my KIDS ROOM, master bedroom. I have notified and nothing!! What makes me even more upset is that to renew our lease we have to pay an additional $200 for the new year when it's not even worth what we are already... paying now. I am a stay at home mom, I'm constantly cleaning up after my family and trying to maintain a safe and healthy environment for my family, but how can I when I have roaches crawling over and in my pantry, dishwasher, appliances, etc.?? They make us provide a list of damages and repairs needed the first week we move in but FOR WHAT? My dishwasher leaks water all over the counter, DIRTY AND NASTY DISGUSTING WATER! It is there job to provide a SAFE ENVIROMENT!!! They DONT HAVE THIS ROACH MADDNESS UNDER CONTROL. I just called the complex and asked if pest control is included "they said yes, they come on a "weekly basis". PEST CONTROL HAS NOT BEEN INTO MY APARTMENT SINCE FEB/MAR 2023, it's now June!! These apartments have so much more potential but the condition of this unit is not fair to us who pay! IT'S DISGUSTING, EMBARRASSING, UNHYGENIC.

Don't do it

There is always something going on here. The cops are always here for one thing or another. They hired "security" without telling anyone who just sit in their cars at the entrance of the complex, not able to see the parts where there is the most police activity. They just created new parking rules that are unbearable. If they were in place when I originally signed my lease, I would NOT have moved in. These rules make it so you basically can't have any visitors and God forbid some has to stay... with you for an extended period of time due to a global PANDEMIC because their car will just keep getting towed for being in a VISITOR spot for more than "3 days in a 5 day period."

If you NEED a place...

Life doesn’t always go according to plan, does it? If you are in NEED of a place to live that will allow you to work on getting on or back on your feet then this is the place. There are no bells and whistles and no sugar coating- this place is OLD the buildings are thin. I have read the reviews all over the internet and they are not wrong BUT my experience in my building the last four years has been mostly pleasant. I know my neighbors and the good ones have been here for the majority of the... time, the “problems” have weeded themselves out or after so many phone calls to the police I assume they were removed.
Denia is hands down the most responsive, respectful, polite, and professional person we have had to date in the office. She knows her stuff and isn’t fake, deceitful, or gross. Believe me, we’ve had some interesting folks.
The owners are slowly remodeling the place. We have gotten new windows and doors which cut down tremendously on the noise you can hear and have insulated our unit better, new washer @ dryers are going in, they’ve painted the railings, redone the building stairs and the apartments I’ve noticed are also getting an update as people move out. This all costs money and when you have residents who don’t always pay their bills on time (I have been guilty of this!) that can set you back.
Bottom line, if you need a place to either start fresh or just to start your life in general this is the place to go.

Go anywhere else but here!

Office never returns phone calls. The entire complex is inhabited by drug dealers. Unsupervised children are running around hitting cars and throwing items at windows and doors all night long. The care and safety of residents is the last thing on the complex's mind. Apartments are run down and good luck getting anything repaired. Last two summers the pool has been closed due to residents threatening the life guards. Save time, money and possibly your life and rent somewhere else. It took me... three years to be able to afford to get out of there and my family is so much better for it.
