parking rip off - available spots to park are very few.
2 months ago, i visited my nephew. i parked in a spot that was not marked to avoid. (legit to park there). last night, i visited him again, parked in same spot, but looked around as i always do to confirm it was a legal spot. i came down 2 hrs later. my car had been towed. the apartment managers office was closed. i had to pay $400 to spring my car. when i came back, looking for a guest spot that was marked guest spot, i noticed there are very few. i counted about 5 spots for the entire complex.... which means, the folks who live there grab the available spots, and guests get the $400 love.
i blv that it would have been fine, if the place was marked. it was not. the whole program is a rip. so go ahead, move there, but beware, your friends will face my challenge. they may decide to visit no more.
my nephew will instead take an Uber to Burien and back to visit me. it will save about $200 over a tow.
