STAY AWAY
DONNOT RENT HERE, Ridiculous Fees after you move out
Been living there one year and moved out.
Location 2/5: OK, close to the bus station, but the apartment building is near I-5, can be very noisy when you open the window, very disturbing when you cannot sleep, plus the pollution from I5 vehicles. I lived in the top floor, room temperature can reach 90F in the summer.
Amenity: 2/5The apartment itself is built in 2000s so do not expect it to be too good. No fitness room, elevator broke regularly.... When I moved in I had to lift heavy bed frames etc to 6 floors with the elevator out of service. So get yourself ready before you move in, you'll never know when the elevator is usable.
Leasing Office: 3/5 was responsive and friendly. Possibly the only good thing.
The previous ones were tolerable to me, but after moving out I found there was more than $200 balance of "Sewer&Trash fee" showed on the resident portal, I didn't think too much and I paid it, then waiting them to return some of my deposits. And just now I received the moveout inspection list, found out it is not "Sewer&Trash Fee," actually they deducted all of my deposit $400, plus this $200+, for some items such as dusty counter-$15, dirty floor-$100, dirty dishwasher-$15(which I did not use ONE TIME during my residence), -summing up to ridiculous $650.
So my comment is, find somewhere else to rent if you don't want to kiss goodbye to your deposits, you can rent a much MOREcomfort and convenient place in SLU or UW, with only adding a few hundred.
