Don't waste your time
Asked to see a one-bedroom, was shown a two-bedroom. This was a very nice unit with a spacious kitchen, beautiful countertops, a large bathroom vanity, and full-sized, front-loading washer and dryer. These were the features that really sold me on the place. I normally won’t do business with a property that charges both pet deposit and pet rent, but opted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I asked point-blank twice whether the unit I would be getting would look like what I just saw and was... told yes except the bedroom would be lofted and the main floor would be wood. I raved about how excited I was about the kitchen and nothing was said to the contrary.
The application process was a pain as they send everything via text message to complete on your phone. There were technical problems that took a day to work out and I never was able to view the unit I’d move into via the link they sent.
When I finally did arrive for move-in, I found a place that had a small kitchen with laminate counters, a laminate vanity that extends only inches from the sink, and top-loading apartment-sized washer and dryer along with a host of problems such as scratches, chips, paint splatter, and some safety issues.
It took the manager three days to get back to me only to disregard anything I had to say even when asked what I wanted them to do. The only solution offered was that I could move into another unit but would have to requalify, pay whatever that rent was, face early termination for not giving 30-days notice, and pay a $200 cleaning fee for an apartment I never moved into.
They had no intention of doing anything to rectify the situation nor give me any respect. Don’t waste your time even visiting this place.
