Top Notch Maintenance Crew

Maintenance crew member Taylor is wonderful in responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner and with a “no worries “ attitude. Chris (Maintenance Supervisor) and Carly (Property Manager) are always quick to respond with answers to questions and concerns that I’ve had. The crew at Wellington have been around for years and they actually care about the safety and well being of the tenants. I consider myself fortunate to have found such a wonderful community to call “home”.

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT

Terrible management. I lived there for a year and they couldn’t keep any employee for more than a month or two, so no one knew what was going on. Other than the location and the updated interior, it’s pretty bad. I’ve received damaged packages/ lost packages when the apartments were taking over the mail delivery due to covid, and also couldn’t come do maintenance on our fried outlets but could come do multiple inspections. I’m not even living there anymore and i’m still trying to pay my final... bill, which it’s been almost a month of us moved out. So if you wanna live somewhere where you will have to put in most of the effort to get things done then sign yourself up! but i would not recommend this place for anyone. Also good luck with the parking if you have more than one car for your apartment.

Do Not Recommend

I do not recommend this place due to reasons noted below.

I'm being charged $800 upon moving out to replace the carpet due to a "carpet cleaning company's recommendation". I lived alone in the apartment, had no pets, and kept it clean. Carpet was installed poorly when I moved in and bubbled up in one spot. I disagree that this was my responsibility and tolerated a lot up to this point.

There are several instances of poor craftsmanship throughout the unit, doors were installed poorly,...
handle to one of my closets was broken, cabinets were not installed flush to the wall and there were several chips through out drawers in the kitchen. Screens in the windows and doors did not seat correctly into the frames.

The parking situation was poor. There were several open numbered spots assigned to specific units. I purchased a new vehicle and inquired about switching spots because I didn't want to park underneath a tree that dropped seeds and leaves on it and was denied. I was told I could use a visitor spot if they were open instead, which is a rare occasion as the same cars take the available visitor spots every day. I then leased a garage unit, had to wait a few days, and then when they gave me access I had to clean out all the garbage inside of it.

The steps leading up to the upper floor toward where I resided are hazardous, several steps wobble and I've seen multiple instances of people losing their balance on them.

I received a threatening letter telling me I needed to pay my rent or I would need to vacate. I used a monthly auto-pay and had no issues of having the necessary funds. When I asked the staff about this, I was told they switched to a new system and I only needed to reactivate the auto-pay feature.

For a premium priced apartment, I have received a less than premium experience to say the least. This has been one of the most frustrating places I've had to deal with.

Downtown Living at it's Best

I absolutely adore living at the Wellington! I have an amazing view from my apartment of all of Silverdale, the water, and even Mount Rainier on a clear day! Kristina and Erin are always so welcoming at the front office, and Chris has been amazing helping to fix anything that I've needed fixed. I can't imagine living anywhere else! The Wellington is home for me and my two children, and we wouldn't have it any other way!

Well established!

The apartment complex is located by everything you’d want to do in silverdale. The apartment is well kept and one of the property managers, Frankie, is very helpful to her tenants.
