Very Nice Place

Very quiet neighborhood and garbage pickup on time and different dinner and lunch parties , the pool area is awesome and not far like two minutes away the lions park is a blessing. Maintenance very responsive I am ok paying little extra for the kids and all these good things. Lived two years looking to buy house but we will see.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you've found our neighborhood to be quiet and enjoyable.

We're delighted that you're enjoying the amenities, especially our awesome pool area, which...
is just a stone's throw away. And we couldn't agree more about the convenience of Lions Park – it's indeed a blessing to have such a lovely green space nearby.

We're also glad to hear that our maintenance team has been responsive to your needs. Ensuring that our residents feel comfortable and well taken care of is always our top priority.

Paid $1250 for pet rent/deposit, yet they still took $300 out of security deposit

My husband and I lived here for one year while we looked for a house to buy. When we moved out, we made sure to clean thoroughly to get the majority of our security deposit back. The condo looked great. All the rooms were spotless except for a small area at the top of the stairs. We knew they'd probably have to use a carpet cleaner on a spot near the entrance where our dog had tracked in dirt over the year. But we assumed this was going to be considered normal wear and tear. We also were paying... a ridiculous amount for pet rent each month (we had a cat and a dog). We paid $50 a month for our dog and $25 a month for our cat. That's $900 JUST FOR THE PETS TO LIVE THERE. Oh, and that's not including the $350 we had to pay as a NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FOR PETS when we moved in... So all in all we paid $1,250 for our pets just to live there.

Now, we got our security deposit back. They took $300 out for carpet replacement. Yup. $300. Wait a minute... they had to REPLACE carpeting?! I am assuring you, the only area in that house that would've needed a deep cleaning would've been that small area near the steps. Ok, so even if you wanted to get a professional carpet cleaner or replace the living room carpet... The $1,250 wouldn't have covered the cost of that? GIVE ME A BREAK. It cannot cost $1550 to clean a small area of carpet.

What is the point of paying pet rent if not to use it to help pay for potential damages done by the pets?

I called the office and tried to reach someone to talk to about the deposit. It's been weeks and no one has called back.

Really disappointed with Wimmer Communities.

Great place to live!

We've lived here for two years and just signed a lease for a third. We really enjoy living here and the amenities (heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, theater room, clubhouse and business office) are great! One of the best parts of living here is the large rooms, open concept and that we never hear our neighbors! The area is very safe, schools are great, and we live close to parks & shopping. While living here, there was a complete overhaul in management. Theresa and her team are... wonderful!! We had numerous outstanding cosmetic issues when she took over and she got them fixed in weeks, where we had waited for months with the previous manager. The maintenance guys are always very nice and accommodating. Recently, our dishwasher's pump went out, and instead of it being replaced with the same bottom of the line model, it was upgraded to a much quieter & better model. Our last landlord wanted to nickel and dime us, and actually wanted to go from a nice range to the cheapest ones, so we just dealt with the issue rather than having it replaced. I would definitely recommend living here, and actually did to a stranger at the grocery store who had just moved to the area!
