Before moving here, READ THIS!!
I signed a 14-month lease here and, with one month left, I’m moving due to noise issues from the apartment above. I’m writing to outline several inconveniences that the management has not addressed before I leave.
Noise Issues: The reason we decided to move was due to noise from the apartment above. I don't know how the previous tenant managed, but for the past year, we didn’t experience any noise problems until the new tenants moved in. They have been making an excessive amount of noise,... running around, playing with balls, and stomping from morning until night. This has completely disrupted my routine after work and has been disturbing my rest for a month. Despite numerous emails to management and countless visits to security, they have remained passive.
Trash Problems: The neighbors have two large trash bins, but they don’t use them. Regardless of the size of the trash, it’s often left in the hallway.
Dog Poops: Dog owners don’t clean up after their pets, and I have to start my mornings stepping over dog poop. I’ve even stepped in it once.
Parking Gate Issues: The parking gate keeps breaking down. Recently, both the car next to mine and the car in front of it had their windows shattered. Also, non-residents frequently park illegally, making it difficult to use the parking lot.
Package Theft: There’s a problem with package theft, so be cautious.
On a positive note, the maintenance staff are really friendly, prompt, and professional. Thanks to them, the rent felt a bit more justified. Also, the cleaning staff work diligently. I greeted them every morning, but even with their efforts, the issues with trash and dog poops remain unresolved.
Additionally, be aware that both the security and leasing office staff may ignore your concerns. Also, it’s worth noting that our downstairs neighbor, who moved in a few months after us, is also moving out on the same day as us. It makes one wonder why.
