Don't do it
Broken mail boxes CONSTANTLY. If you move here get a PO Box. This has been an issue for over 5 years according to reviews.
Management doesn't care about people. You'll be treated like an apartment number. In their eyes amenities are a luxury you shouldn't expect to work. Anytime I've said anything about an amenity not working I get the same line - "You pay for the apartment, not the laundry/pool/fitness room, etc"
When I complain about my mailbox being broken into TWICE, "We can't guarantee... your safety. We don't have on-site security. Your lease states that."
No humanity in the responses from Veronica. You will be a lease to her - nothing more.
They said they'd be building a new secure mail center that would be done by September. We're almost in November and it's not done. They haven't updated the residents on on progress or new completion date.
They did fix the gate finally, but only after receiving complaints. Veronica tried to claim they didn't know it was broken....for MONTHS on end.
I was told a couple weeks ago that they'd find out what's up with the new mail center and never got a call or email back. They only care about responding if you complain online - and barely even then.
The day after I complained about my mailbox being broken into twice since the "new mail center" announcement my car was broken into. What a coincidence huh?
The least of the issues - and something I'd be told I don't pay for anyway even though it's an advertised amenity that I considered in my choice to move here - the fitness room "opens" at 7. That's only if the person who opens it actually gets up and opens it. It was still locked at 7:20 today and caused me to miss my workout. But hey...I pay for the apartment not the amenities.
Let's see...what else?
One of my neighbors shot at another one of my neighbors shortly after I moved in. The police had a 30 minute standoff with the guy.
A homeless guy fell asleep on my steps and wouldn't wake up no matter how loud I yelled. I called the complex to have them call the police and asked that they fix the gate. They told me to call the police and then didn't fix the gate until months later. So I had to call the police just to take my trash out.
Honestly you can live WAY closer to the coast for the same price in the same conditions.

There has been a... delay in the completion of the mailboxes however we are very close into completing them. There has been an increase in homeless persons in the area, and the City of Riverside has been increasing their efforts around this situation. Please let our office know (or our courtesy patrol if it’s after hours), if you notice trespassers loitering at the community. We advise anyone witnessing or experiencing crime to contact the police immediately. We are thankful that you decided to renew your lease, and our team is always happy to help.
