Fantastic place to call home
Lived here for three years, from 2018-2021. Had an absolutely wonderful time and would have stayed even longer had I not moved cross country
Building & rooms: 4.5/5
As with most things in the Seaport, Waterside is new construction. Materials and quality are appropriate for the price. Layout of rooms are easy to make use of, and public spaces are simple to navigate
Noise: 4/5
Can hear residents if they're talking or passing by in the hallway, but overall fairly quiet. Otherwise can't hear... neighbors to the side, and only rarely those above you if they drop something on the floor. Unfortunately quite a bit of construction noises, which is expected in the Seaport with all the new construction going up. That said, it definitely reduced over the years and expect this to be less and less of an issue moving forward
Management: 5/5
Absolutely phenomenal team!!! Starting with Mary at the front desk, all the way through George in the leasing/management office, the Waterside team is extremely thoughtful and always professional. They're always responsive through email, and maintenance requests are handled within 24 hours. Packages are either housed in the Amazon hub next to the mail room, or held by the front desk for residents to pick up. When the front desk team has extra bandwidth, they sometimes even go the extra mile and deliver straight to your unit! They're also great at coordinating a steady diet of community events to keep you busy
Amenities: 4/5
Small gym, but has everything most people will need. Nice little garden area where you can rent out small plots to plant things. Plenty of patio chair/table clusters outdoors to sunbathe (when Boston weather allows) or hang out with friends and family. BBQ grilling area great for hosting
Location: 4.5/5
Right on the edge of Seaport, a 5-10 minute walk to where shops, restaurants, and office buildings are. 15-20 min walk to South Station and downtown/financial district. Extremely convenient to travel beyond walking distance, being less than a block from T station (Silver Line), which takes you to South Station in 5 minutes where you can transfer to other lines, and Logan Airport in 10. For those looking for the occasional rental car, there's an Avis/Budget right across the street, taking advantage of the nearby underground parking to house a large selection of cars
