The Southmore Apartments

My dog and I just moved into The Southmore, and we couldn't be happier with how welcoming and helpful the entire staff has been! Every time I walk into the lobby, Maggie's warm smile makes me feel right at home. Ericka kept me in the loop during the move-in process, making all the paperwork seem so easy and clear. And an extra recognition to Stephanie, who made sure our move went smoothly and truly made us feel like part of the community.

The apartment amenities are exceptional, and the... location is prime. The public spaces are not only stunning but also feel like an extension of my apartment.

Great pet friendly community to live in, we are happy with our choice to move here at Southmore.

Rather disappointed in my experience, from move-in to actually living here. My apartment wasn’t ready on move-in day, my smoke alarm was beeping and I was told I had to wait 3 days for maintenance (went directly to management and it was handled promptly), my apartment was dirty (dirt marks on walls, stain on carpet, dirty and marked-up wood floor, urine stains on and around toilet seat/toilet, dried blood on baseboard around toilet.

Also, can hear neighbors stomping/walking above and dragging... furniture at various times of day, especially in the evening. You can hear, quite loudly, toilets flushing and the noise of the excrements traveling through the walls, in the bedroom. It’s so bad, I can actually hear my upstairs neighbors water collecting in the toilet for the flush and traveling through the pipes, and can also tell if it’s a “productive” exit by how loud and hard the water etc passes through the pipes. I have been utterly disappointed with this and it has affected my quality of life and health. Insomnia, wearing ear plugs and feeling dreadful as I come home from work because I have to deal with this. I brought it to managements attention several times and although nice, I don’t feel the matter was taken seriously. I expect more from a luxury property and it massively falls short. The Southmore is perfectly situated in the Museum District, offering stunning views of the city. The property is beautifully maintained, and the management and staff are exceptional. We appreciate the convenient garage parking that allows us direct access to our units, and the valet service is fantastic. Being close to work adds to our comfort, and we truly feel welcomed, happy, and safe here.

It’s been a good experience so far and Stephanie is absolutely amazing. Like most, I’ve lived in many apartment complexes and Stephanie is by far the best property manager I have come across. She is responsive, extremely helpful and I can tell she enjoys what she does. She really makes me feel welcomed any time I’ve approached her with a question or concern. Valet is also really kind and helpful. I have explored a few of the amenities and they are always clean and comfortable. I expected a... little better insulation in such a nice building (can hear neighbors stomping above and my neighbors music through the walls), otherwise I am pleased with my experience thus far.
