Truly Disappointing Communication/Organization
I have lived at this complex for nearly 10 years and the complex recently transition to new ownership (Greystar), changing the name to Seraphina. Overall, I have enjoyed living here despite some problems with crime, gates that do not work reliably, and consistent water shut-offs; however, I am absolutely disappointed after I came home from work to a Notice to Vacate on my door, alleging that I did not pay rent (when I actually overpaid for the month because they could not give me the amount owed... because they were switching to a new computer system). When I went to the office to resolve, they mentioned that it happened to some other residents and they were able to "find" their payments, telling me not to worry about it and to come back when the property manager is there. I traced the money order and it had indeed been cashed. You think that they would do their homework before sending out notices like that, especially around Holidays.
